Beginning in 2023 UACDL started collecting donations for the Gideon Fund, a fund designated for the purpose of assisting Utah’s rural public defenders by providing them resources to enrich skills and advocacy.
UACDL’s Board of Directors approved that the fund be used to create scholarships for trial skill college. UACDL is currently in the process of selecting a program that best suits the fund’s use.
